Or if fitted permanently it will offer none stop report building via a free to use web tracking portal. If the vehicle is stolen or if your staff are abusing their trust you can send a comand and stop the vehicle.

A geofence could be set up to notify you when they arrive or leave a set destination. This could be done via the internet or mobile phone.

If you are concerned about the safety of your staff then a panic buttom could be used. Once pressed it will send a SOS distress notice to your mobile along with the location of the vehicle.

Some trackers don't really deserve to be called a tracker simply because you cannot track them! They are GPS data loggers that replays there history back to you once the device as been retrieved.

Some so called real time trackers are reliant on SMS text reports. They work by you texting the tracker and then IF the tracker receives your text it will obtain it's position and text you back... But they text you back in "Co-ordinates" this is the latitute and longitude position. In other word jiggerish numbers. They do make sense if you then mess about copying into a digital map such as Google Earth. There's no indication if the vehicle is moving or not in the report. So you don't even know if they are at a suspicious location or not until you've texted it a few times to work out if its Stationary. In short, hard work and useless if you are trying to follow someone.
